PETRO BEVZA (1963, Shpytky village, Kyiv region) – painter; member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1990); member of the All-Ukrainian creative union “BZ-ART” (1997); winner of the International Salon of Contemporary Art D`art`96 (France) and the International Art Festival (Ukraine, 1997).

In 1977–1979 he attended an art studio under the direction of Borys Pianida at the Kyiv Art Institute. He graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute in 1985 (M. Stepanov’s workshop). The style of his paintings is defined by art critics as post-avant-garde, and the author himself – as neo-expressionism.

Since 1987 he has participated in Ukrainian and international exhibitions in Luxembourg, Slovakia, Switzerland, Germany and France. Personal exhibitions took place in Kyiv, Paris, Leipzig, New York and others. Participant and curator of various art projects. The works are stored in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Ukrainian National Gallery, the National Museum in Lviv, Odessa and Zaporizhia Art Museums, the Museum of Contemporary Art “PasquArt” (Biel-Bienne, Switzerland), the International Academy of Environment (Geneva, Switzerland), the Ukrainian Institute America (New York) and in private collections in Ukraine, Poland, Great Britain, USA, France, Germany, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Jordan, Israel, Japan, South Korea.
