MELNYCHUK IHOR (1969, Kotsyubynchyky village) – Ukrainian painter; member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2000); Honored Artist of Ukraine (2007); received the academic title of Associate Professor of Painting and Composition of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (2011). Participant and organizer of annual student plein airs in the Carpathians, master of landscape painting. Participant of all-Ukrainian, international art exhibitions. The artist creates landscapes, still lifes, portraits in the styles of Expressionism and Impressionism. Applying paints creates not so much painting as relief. All works are bright and colorful. Igor Melnychuk is an artist who easily depicts reality, filling paintings with his emotions and impressions. This is how bright and expressive paintings appear, which attract the viewer and enchant with natural energy, as if the author added a little magic in addition to paints. The works are stored in Ukraine, abroad and in private collections.
