KOVTUN VICTOR (1958, Mezyn village, Korop district, Chernihiv region) – Ukrainian artist, painter. People’s Artist of Ukraine (2002), Honored Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (2010), member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Full member of the International Academy of Information at the United Nations (1998). Academician of the Brest National Academy of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Arts (2007) awarded the Gold Medal of the Scientific Partnership Foundation and the Cultural Heritage Foundation. He graduated from the Kharkiv Art School (1977), studied with the famous Ukrainian painter and graphic artist V. Lapin. Participates in national, all-Ukrainian, all-Union, international exhibitions. Personal exhibitions of the artist: Switzerland, Slovakia, China, Ukraine.
