DERKACH MYKOLA (1961, Yurovshchyna) – painter. Honored Artist in Ukraine (2013). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2005), winner of the Municipal Prize, winner of the Tatiana Yablonska Prize. He was awarded the Silver Order “For Labor Achievements of the IV Degree” by the International Academy of Rating Technologies and Sociology “Golden Fortune” (2021), Professor, Associate Professor. He graduated from the Kharkiv Academy of Design and Art (2001). Participant of regional, all-Ukrainian art exhibitions since 1997. Main genres: still life and landscape. Still lifes are dominated by complex compositions, balanced motifs. Mykola Derkach’s works are in private collections in Ukraine, America, Israel, Hungary, Poland and other countries.
