MYROSHNYCHENKO VASYL (1957, Dnipropetrovsk – 2017, Dnipro) – painter, graphic artist, architect. Honored Artist of Ukraine (2008), member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1987), chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2004-2017). He graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (1980). The artist is a regular participant in regional and international exhibitions. His landscapes, created in the process of working in creative groups of plein air painting, have been repeatedly exhibited in personal exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. Vasyl Miroshnychenko’s paintings are stored in museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. According to his projects, the interior of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War in Donetsk was decorated.
