ANATOLIY MARCHUK (January 1, 1956, Vesela Sloboda village, Makariv district, Kyiv region) is a Ukrainian artist.
He studied drawing at the private school of V. Zaretsky. He graduated from the Kyiv State Art Institute (now the National Academy of Arts and Architecture) (1986).
Honored Artist of Ukraine (2006), member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1990). Laureate of the S. Gulak-Artemovsky International Prize (1999) and the Volodymyr Vynnychenko International Prize (2013).
The artist works in the field of easel graphics and painting. Anatoliy Marchuk has been a participant of all-Ukrainian and foreign art exhibitions since 1985. Personal exhibitions took place in Kyiv (1989, 1993, 2003, 2006, 2013, 2016), Krakow (1992), Hamburg (1996).
Anatoliy Marchuk’s works are stored in many leading art museums of Ukraine and Poland, in the collections of the Ministry of Culture, the Directorate of Exhibitions of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and private collections in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, USA, Australia and Canada.
