ANATOLIY BURTOVY (1961, Guli village, Kyiv region) – painter and graphic artist; member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1993); Honored Artist of Ukraine (2015); Associate Professor of Design, National Transport University (teacher of drawing and painting). He is a member of the Svitovid creative association.

He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Art School (1982) and the evening faculty of the Polygraphic Institute. I. Fedorov (1991, teachers Glushchuk F., Miklovda O.). From 1982 to 1984 he worked at the Zaporizhia Art and Production Complex; in 1987-1993 – art editor at the publishing houses “Scientific Thought” and “Trust”.

In his work he combines the traditions of Ukrainian folk art, icon painting and the school of painting of the 1920s and 1930s. He is also an illustrator of prose literature and poetry, author of bookplates.

Participant in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad (Vienna, 1991). Personal exhibitions took place in Kyiv (1997), Washington (2002), Montreal (2004) and others. The works are stored in the Museum of Patriarch Mstislav in Sound Bandr Brutz, in the Ukrainian House and the Taras Shevchenko National Museum.
