IHOR HUBSKY (1954, Kadyivka – 2022) – Ukrainian artist. Included in the Unified Art Rating with code 4A – a professional artist with individual style and appropriate price recommendation. He graduated from the Voroshilovgrad Art School in 1973) and the Kyiv State Art Institute (1979). He ingeniously knows how to embody natural impressions into images – sharp, characteristic, recognizable, expressive. His sense of the human soul, inherent in the ability to sharply characterize the characters, to create a bright, unexpected, often deeply philosophical image, impress collectors and gallery owners. The artist’s paintings are being auctioned at Cristie’s and Philips auctions. The works are stored in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the Malmö Art Museum (Sweden), the Gorlovka Art Museum, England, Israel, Canada, USA (New York and Chicago), Sweden.
