(1953, Krukovets village, Lviv region) – painter and graphic artist; member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1988); Honored Art Worker of Ukraine (2003); People’s Artist of Ukraine (2009); Laureate of all-Ukrainian and international competitions (3rd prize of the All-Ukrainian Triennial of Painting (2001), 1st prize of the Ceramics Festival in Westerwald (2003)).

He graduated from the Lviv School of Applied and Decorative Arts (1980, teachers Bordun M., Dragan T.). Since 1986 – participant in foreign art exhibitions.

Author of landscapes, portraits, still lifes, in which he mainly aspires to the traditions of Ukrainian national painting. Prefers expressionist style and contrasting color comparison with the predominance of red colors.

Solo exhibitions took place in Lviv (1993, 1997, 2002), Bochum (1999), Freiburg (2003), Reims (1999, 2000), Brasier (2002), Westerwald and Kyiv (2003). The works are stored in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Khmelnytsky and Sumy Art Museums, the National Museum in Lviv, the Lviv Art Gallery, the Museum of Ceramics in Westerwald, as well as in private collections in Ukraine and Europe.
