POLYAKOVA MARIA (1981, Kyiv). In 2000, she graduated from the Taras Shevchenko Art School, and in 2001 she entered the Academy of Arts. She defended her master’s degree in the easel painting workshop of Professor Mykhailo Huyda (2007). Since 2004, he has been a member of the NSHU youth association. 2015 – member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Participant of various All-Ukrainian exhibitions and International plein-air exhibitions. Polyakova founded the children’s charitable art studio “SUVAG” on the basis of the children’s rehabilitation center “SUVAG” for children with hearing and speech disabilities. She uses oil paints to create classic realistic paintings.

Favorite genres: portrait and figurative composition. Favorite artists: O. Murashko, T. Yablonska, T. Golembievska, F. Krychevskyi, I. Repin, V. Serov, Velasquez, K. Monet and Manet.

The paintings are in private collections of Ukraine, the USA, Canada, Germany, France, Brazil, Austria, Australia, Korea, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and China.
