MOVCHAN VITALIY (1947, Dmytrivka village) – painter, graphic artist and sculptor. Honored Artist of Ukraine (2013). Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1982). He graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (1976). Since then he has worked as a graphic artist. The main areas are easel painting, graphics and sculpture. The artist’s work is characterized by the ratio of large areas of color. He writes hyper-realistic and abstract-symbolic landscapes, still lifes, nude. Participant in all-Ukrainian and international art exhibitions and plein airs. The works are in museums in Ukraine, private collections in the United States, France, Japan and other countries.
