The story of a young boy called Matvii

We want to share the story of a young boy called Matvii with you.

The story of this unusual patient had begun even before he was born. When the boy’s mother was seven months pregnant, the examinations showed that the unborn child had an orphan disease Spina bifida. It is a severe form of congenital malformation of the nervous system, which presupposes the abnormal development of the spine.

Parents turned to OHMATDYT for help when the development of neuromuscular scoliosis complicated the boy’s illness. Matvii has suffered many operations, but he recently underwent the most important one, the result of which would straighten his spine and help Matvii feel better. We are delighted to be a part of Matvii’s new journey. We hope for his speedy recovery and believe in his future accomplishments.
